Lauren is an author and book-cover designer who writes for adults, teens and children. She studied Illustration for Children’s Publishing before moving into writing. Lauren also works alongside her husband, Alex, to co-create graphic novels.

When not writing, Lauren works in the greeting card industry and likes to make elaborate cakes that only sometimes stay upright. She lives in Northamptonshire with her other half, two kids, one dog and an indeterminate number of fish.
